Platinum bars from Heraeus
Platinum bars are made at 999.5 fine, the usual standard for the metal, where gold bars are 999.9. The one-ounce bar has the face of the Heraeus gold ounce, 40.4 × 23.3 mm, and the kilobar is more compact than a gold kilobar: platinum is denser than gold.
Every bar carries the Heraeus name, Platinum 999,5, and the Heraeus Edelmetalle Hanau hallmark.
