The Monetary Authority of Singapore reports official gold holdings of 6,543,793 fine troy ounces in its International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity return for [MONTH] 2026. The same line carries a US-dollar value of 5,830.3 million. At 32,150.7 fine troy ounces to the metric tonne, the ounce figure is 203.5 tonnes.
A fine ounce is gross weight multiplied by assayed fineness: a 400-ounce bar at 995.0 fineness carries 398 fine ounces, and the same bar at 999.9 carries 399.96. A total stated to the single ounce comes off weight lists, line by line, each bar contributing its own gross weight and stamped fineness. LBMA Good Delivery admits bars of 350 to 430 gross ounces at a minimum fineness of 995.0, so 6,543,793 fine ounces fixes no bar count — the same total falls out as roughly 15,200 bars at the heavy end of that range and roughly 18,700 at the light end. Serial-level allocation runs on two documents, a serial list naming each bar and a weight list carrying its gross weight and assay, and the two reconcile bar by bar. Each line of that weight list carries a serial, a gross weight and a fineness, and a receiving register records those three fields per bar. An instruction stated in fine ounces and a placement recorded in gross weight per serial settle against those lines, so a holding described in tonnes is confirmed at the point the weight list is produced.
The return states official reserve assets at a reporting date, in fine troy ounces and in US dollars. Serial records, vault placement and the weight list behind the fine-ounce total sit with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the dollar line follows the valuation convention applied in that return.
